Greenville city declares "Jim Alexander Day" recognizing 27 years at SCTAC
Jim Alexander is recognized by the Greenville city and county for his 27 years of dedication as maintenance director at SCTAC. The city announced that Alexander's long-time service to SCTAC, directly contributing to the 1 billion dollar yearly economic impact of SCTAC to the state, will be distinguished through a proclamation of September 27th as "Jim Alexander Day."
"Jim has been an incredible asset to establishing and maintaining a successful SCTAC," says CEO, President Jody Bryson. "Through contributions like Jim's, we are able to offer unique advantages to tenants like Lockheed Martin and Michelin whose stability is so vital to our state's economy."
Alexander, first employed in 1983 at SCTAC when the organization was known as Donaldson Center, will reside in Anderson with his wife, Linda, after retiring effective September 30. Danny Moyd, current project manager at SCTAC, will assume responsibility for project management.
