SCTAC Reaches $1 Billion in Economic Impact
A new economic impact study involving 11 of the 30 companies at SCTAC showed $634.4 million annually in direct economic output that supports 1,377 jobs and an annual payroll of $81.2 million. During the past year, those companies invested $388 million in capital improvements.
When the ripple effect is counted, SCTAC and the companies that have located there generated an additional $381 million in economic activity and 2,358 more jobs. The $1 billion direct and indirect annual impact on Greenville County makes the aviation-centered industrial park one of the Upstate's most important job machines.

Tenant Features: Honoring service men and women: charity held at Donaldson jet center
|
Over 50 volunteers gathered on May 15, 2010 to "push" for a great cause! The Pushups for Charity is an annual fundraiser to benefit the Wounded Warriors Fund. Each person committed to doing a certain amount of pushups and raising money for each one completed. Donations per pushup were as small as $0.20. Over $9,000 was raised and 100% of the proceeds were donated directly to the Wounded Warriors Project.
The mission of the Wounded Warriors Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors. This project helps to raise awareness and enlists the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women, as well as provide unique programs and services to those injured.
Donaldson Jet Center is the oldest full service FBO at Donaldson Field, with over 75 years in the FBO/General Aviation field. DJC also operates a state-approved flight school.

save lives. There is no substitute for human blood, and only one pint of blood can save three lives.
Every three seconds someone needs blood, and approximately 32,000 units of blood are used each day in the United States.
Making a donation supports our local Blood Connection, and without your help, the deficit will increase. Please give your employees this information, and please consider making your own donation. An appointment is not necessary.
Giving blood only takes ten minutes of your time, and anyone who is in good health, at least 17 years old, and weighs at least 110 pounds can donate blood every 56 days.
