SCTAC One Year Anniversary
October 2, 2009 marks the one year anniversary of our new brand, featuring a new name, look and strategic direction. The SCTAC brand was designed to embrace our unique status within the state of South Carolina, our strategic location in the heart of the I-85 Boom Belt, and the current corporate climate.
The rebranding has been a success:
- Over 300 business leaders attended the rebranding announcement on October 2, 2008
- The new SCTAC website, www.sc-tac.com, featuring detailed information on available properties, and showcasing our top technology companies
- An Increased focus on product development, resulted in additional marketable sites and new prospects
- New advertising, targeted marketing and PR initiatives are underway, including this ezine
- New signage guides you through the newly created SCTAC district system
- New airport concept and landscape designs are in place for Donaldson Field
- New facilities management headquarters is open, strategically located on the airfield

Lockheed Martin Celebrates 25 Years in Greenville
On August 27, 1984, in the Northwest corner of South Carolina, a lease was signed between SCTAC and the Lockheed Aeromod Centers, Inc. in Greenville, SC. Twenty-five years later, the Lockheed Martin operations in Greenville continue to provide the finest aircraft maintenance, modification, and logistics services in the industry.
On October 3rd, Lockheed Martin employees will celebrate this wonderful achievement with a day of fun, food, and relaxation with their families. The SCTAC Management Office would like to extend our congratulations for this momentus occasion and we look forward to many more years of anniversaries and business endeavors together. |

Mr. Allen Inglesby
Mr. Allen Inglesby is the current chairman of the South Carolina Technology and Aviation Center Board of Directors and has served on the Donaldson Center Fire Department Area Board for twenty years. As president of I&M Industrial, located at SCTAC, Inglesby has led the successful business for more than forty years. He has been a member of the Greenville Airport Commission and the Industrial Compressors Distributors Assocation and is an active member in the Colonial Dance Club and Cotillion Club. Inglesby graduated from Clemson University with honors. |

Lockheed Martin Continues to Supply Excellent Service
With the 25 year anniversary taking place this year, it is important to remember the excellent services provided by Lockheed Martin that have sustained growth and enduring relationships. Lockheed Martin has been a part of the Aeronautics business and the Information Systems & Globals services business.
Today, Lockheed Martin performs some of the most challenging P-3 and C-130 maintenance and modification work ever undertaken, as well as, the Field Team Operations supports F-35, F-22, F-16, C-5, C-130 and P-3 operations worldwide. Although Lockheed Martin has progressed and evolved in many ways, one thing has remained the same- the unfailing committment to offer the highest quality support possible to Lockheed Martin customers. That committment is stronger than ever today, and it shows in the aircraft services provided.

Potential Youth Foundation Benefit
The Potential Youth Foundation is beginning a new school year filled with exciting Coaches 4 Character programs and building on the established student learning efforts to help at-risk youth in this area. On October 3, 2009, the Hartness Estate will host a fundraiser for the PYF that will include chicken, BBQ, and shrimp, wine and beer, football on big screen TVs, and music by the Rickey Godfrey Band and Bad Popes. Tickets are $50.00 and the event begins at 6:30p.m .

A Hero's Salute at SC-TAC
We invite you to a special event...
On October 16th at 2:00 p.m. FUTURE (Families United Toward Universal Respect) will host "A Hero's Salute" where the public can view a beautiful display of hundred of US flags. The field is dedicated to those past and present who have bravely served our country. Guest speakers will include US Congressman Bob Inglis, Iraqui delegates, and military families. The opening ceremony to observe the flags and share in the community spirit will be held across from the SCTAC Manangement Office.
