Cleanpart US Expands to SCTAC

Christina Scavone Joins SCTAC as Public Relations Representative

Christina Scavone, a senior in communication studies at Clemson University, joins SCTAC as public relations representative.  Scavone, former corporate communications intern at BMW Manufacturing Co., is responsible for internal and external communications, social media initiatives and media relations.

"SCTAC is excited to have Christina join our team," says president and CEO Jody Bryson.  "The internship program is fundamental for both the intern and SCTAC as students are able to enhance our organization with a unique and fresh perspective while gaining real-world experience to assist in their future career endeavors."

Scavone, who worked full-time as corporate communications intern at BMW Manufacturing Co., has ample skills in internal, community and media relations and hopes to use her experiences to promote SCTAC, its tenants and the Upstate through her position. Scavone is also heavily involved at Clemson University in the Public Relations Student Society of America, her sorority and as writing and editing intern for Clemson's Division of Student Affairs Publications Office.   

"Christina worked in the corporate communications department as an intern last year so we are excited that she will have an opportunity to use that experience and her skills as the new public relations representative at SCTAC," says BMW Manufacturing's Bunny Richardson.

SCTAC Remembers Richard Ashmore

 

Description: http://ih.constantcontact.com/fs069/1101884384519/img/406.jpgRichard Ashmore, Director Emeritus of SCTAC's board of directors for over 20 years and chair of the board for 6 years, passed away June 14.  He will be remembered for his incredible leadership in economic development in Upstate South Carolina.   His impact at SC Technology & Aviation Center will always be known, especially for his efforts in obtaining several successful tenants and positioning SCTAC as a business park on a global level.

  

 

Haley Designates June to Honor General Aviation

SCTAC Thanks Carson for Year of Service

Description: Brittany CarsonSCTAC would like to thank     Brittany Carson for her year of service as public relations representative. Brittany has accepted a job in Atlanta, Ga. with marketing firm, Sagepath Inc., as their newest junior project manager on the Coca-Cola account.

 

"Working as PR representative at SCTAC prepared me in numerous ways for a career in the communications industry," says Carson. "Under Jody's leadership, I was able to grow as a young professional through several client-based and web-based projects. I am extremely appreciative for the enriching environment I was exposed to this past year and am confident Christina will excel in this position as well!"
