SCTAC Donates Historical Artifacts to UHM

SCTAC Donates Historical Artifacts to UHM

GREENVILLE, SC - June 29, 2012 - Our friends at the Upcountry History Museum are unveiling a new exhibit on Veteran's Day weekend that is centered around the Greenville Army Air Base and Donaldson Center.

The SC Technology and Aviation Center has worked with the Upcountry History Museum to donate several historical artifacts and documents to the exhibit and museum archives-- some of which will even be on display in the exhibit!

This partnership allows for these invaluable items to be housed permanently with a team and staff that can provide the proper care and expertise for preserving their legacy as well as to showcase them for many more community members to enjoy. Several of the items donated include a trunk that belonged to John Donaldson, a propeller, aerial photos of Donaldson Air Force Base and framed collages of John Donaldson.
